About the role: They are looking for an HR Business Partner to join the People team as part of the global HR team and act as the leading HR function in the NY office.
As an HR Business Partner you will be a close partner of all leaders in our NY team, your work will be instrumental in developing and growing the team, while developing and maintaining the culture and values. This position requires an extremely perceptive person who is capable of relating to all individuals within different levels of the organization. We’re looking for someone who possesses a ‘can-do’ approach. Reports to: VP HR.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coach and develop managers and individual contributors
- Assist employees and managers in resolving workplace issues and grievances
- Assess employee development needs, make recommendations, and implement appropriate solutions
- Be a part of the recruitment processes. Ensuring that we recruit the most qualified talent
- Work with the leadership team to develop human resources strategies to maximize our growth
- Act as trusted advisor for senior leaders
- Partner with sales leadership on key HR programs such as career paths, performance reviews, compensation & rewards
- Employee Relations: you will be a trusted resource to the team while handling the day to day employee inquiries as well as ad hoc, sensitive matters with the utmost discretion and fairness
- Manage human resources daily operations including employee compensation and benefits, and maintaining health and safety accountability with labor laws
- Create, measure, and drive employment metrics to create efficiencies and measure program performance
- Develop a monthly reporting cadence to senior management
- Initiate programs that help our culture continue to thrive.
- Take part in leading cross-company HR projects
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of proven experience of HR management in small/mid-size tech companies
- Proven experience with recruiting and working with customer facing positions (Marketing, Sales, etc)
- Prior experience working in a fast paced growing startup – ideal
- Past experience in working globally- ideal
- Experience working with “C- level” managers with consultancy and business partnership skills
- Project management skills and ability to drive programs independently
- Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into action planning
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization
- Relevant bachelors degree within human resources field
- A creative, resourceful problem solver, excellent teamwork skills, proactive and self-motivated
