About the role: Our client is looking for an experienced Head/VP of Marketing to build the marketing team and strategize the marketing center of excellence. The Head/VP Marketing reports directly to the CEO of the company.
Responsibilities:
- Responsibility for overall strategy, management, measurement and optimization of our marketing channels and activities
- Strategic vision and product marketing: Market analysis, segmentation, overall messaging and product marketing strategies (pricing and go-to market plans)
- Spokesperson, diving into customer buying behavior analysis, segmentation and profiling to improve both media efficiency and quality of customers.
- Manage all marketing communication activities: Website and social appearance, brand awareness, PR & media, IR, create lead generation campaigns, tradeshows and webinars
- Customer acquisition management including: Lead generation orientation, sales funnel analysis, ongoing qualification and optimization. Identify new sources of customer acquisition through emerging platforms, partners, strategies and channels
- Sales Enablement: Develop sales kits/collaterals, playbook, demos, training and coaching for the Sales Managers.
Requirements:
- 5-7+ years of relevant experience in senior marketing role in a startup environment
- Strategic, creative, and entrepreneurial growth marketer with strong project management skills who can float up and down from strategy to detailed execution
- An understanding of technologies supporting impactful digital marketing and social media efforts
- Highly dynamic thinker, with excellent communication and follow-through skills
- Thriving in a highly collaborative and growth-driven environment
- Must be KPIs and data-driven, capable of connecting them to effective business models
- A track record of accomplishments
