They are seeking a strategic and tactical Senior Marketing Manager with account based B2B marketing and enterprise technology background to oversee and conceptualize marketing campaigns with the support of a team.
Responsibilities for the Senior Marketing Manager:
- Lead: lead development and execution of assigned brand-marketing strategies for North America targeting top Fortune ranked firms.
- Strategy:Contribute to annual strategic marketing plan, including clearly outlined objectives, strategies, tactics and timing to support overall sales growth objectives. Identify the optimum mix of marketing deliverables, events, assets and media. Focus on account based marketing, go-to-market strategy, value proposition, messaging, etc.
- Knowledge Center: Follow trends in targeted industries and participate in defining the go-to-market strategy.
- Team/Strategy: work with business, demand, tech leaders, and marketing leaders to come up with innovative program and campaign strategies for strategic targets and lead the way through execution and act as a role model for marketing staff.
- Insight: Make business recommendations relevant to the overall demand growth.
- Measurement: Identify success criteria for meeting objectives, including ROI and other metrics. Create reports on a timely basis to share campaign results.
Ideal Senior Marketing Manager should have:
- 7-10 years strategic AND tactical marketing experience across account based marketing, go-to-market strategy, value proposition within enterprise technologies
- Background in marketing from a known management consulting firm ideal working with tech clients
- Background working with technology clients from Mid to Enterprise level
- Experience working closely with sales team
- Strategic thinker – able to see the big picture, developing marketing strategies, identifying and tracking KPIs
- Tactical marketing experience (market research, campaigns, strategic execution, marketing automation tool exposure)
- Bachelor’s degree, MBA preferred in Marketing
- Ideal experience with Marketo
- Holistic view of marketing programs and ability to work with stakeholders to develop strategy
- Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
- Superior project management skills and dedicated attention to detail
