About the role: Our client is seeking an intelligent and resourceful Recruiter with HR knowledge to run the US recruiting efforts alongside a small global HR team.  As a Recruiter, you will be responsible for the full-cycle recruiting process, from talent sourcing and attracting candidates to interviewing, hiring and onboarding.

Responsibilities for the Recruiter:

Recruitment:

  • Source and attract candidates using social media, job boards and placement agencies
  • Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting to grow candidate pipeline
  • You will search for talent using Boolean Logic, x-raying and networking in order to attract the best suitable candidates
  • Work with hiring managers to write and manage job descriptions
  • Conduct phone and frontal interviews
  • Manage the entire hiring process E2E
  • Manage the on-boarding of new employees
  • Being the focal point with recruitment agencies

Human Resources:

  • Managing additional HR activities in NY office, while aligning and coordinating the NY office HR strategy with global team
  • Advise and assist staff and management regarding employment standards and legislation, such as workers compensation, labor laws and regulations, benefits, etc
  • Build and maintain relationships and culture with the office’s employees in order to understand internal processes, needs, and potential issues
  • Liaise with management on employee relations issues
  • Ensure that HR processes and procedures are aligned HR directive
  • Support for the company well-being : happy hours, activities and similar
  • Take part of cross HR projects

Ideal Requirements for the Recruiter:

  • At least 3 years’ work experience as a Recruiter in hi-tech/startup companies
  • Proven sourcing experience with customer facing positions (Marketing, Sales, etc)
  • Brilliant communicator, team player, hard worker, independent, and fun to work with
  • Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter& other social media recruitment tools
  • Possesses a ‘can-do’ approach and the ability to manage multiple and competing priorities in a hectic environment.
  • Working knowledge of US Employment Law
  • BA in relevant field, Master’s degree – an advantage
